Feminist Literature/Film- by Gisell Vasquez

When I consider the word feminist, I automatically think of women's rights or lack thereof and how it has affected the degree to which we have been able to freely express ourselves. When looking at the spectrum of it, I think about the restriants that were once present and liberties that can now be taken. Initially I only thought of feminism as involving women, but I have realized that men have also been a part of the fight for women's rights. Feminist works are a reflection of the hardships and achievements women have experienced.
